DR. MIZAN RAHMAN

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Dr. Mizan Rahman has 30 years of design and management experience from Silicon Valley; specialized in Chip Design to full System Design. He brings Product Development and Engineering Management leadership to ULKASEMI. Mizan has extensive hands-on expertise on ASIC, SoC, PCB and System Design; worked with Fortune 100 global companies like HP, Sun Microsystems and Cisco. He was awarded fourteen patents. He was co-founder of two successful startups: RMI (acquired by NetLogic) & SiSilk. Dr. Rahman is an active Stanford University alumni with a strong passion to help the poorest of the poor. He is the Chairman & CEO of philanthropic organization, RIJaKK.org. Mizan has BS EE, MS EE, Ph.D EE and MS CS degrees.

SRINIVAS RAO KUKUTLA

Chief Silicon Officer (CSO)

Srinivas brings over 25 years of extensive experience in IP-based chip implementation. His passion for cross functional team and business development along with hands-on technical training and implementation has seen multiple high speed processor class chips to production at companies like AMD, Procket Networks, Cisco Systems, KoolChip, Wave Computing, Totic Technologies and multiple other startups. Srinivas has a MS in Microelectronics from BITS, Pilani, India.

ANWARUL HASAN

VP of Engineering

Anwarul Hasan has over 35 years of engineering and management experience in the semiconductor industry in Silicon Valley in corporate strategic planning, program management, design automation, high-end complex ASIC chip design, marketing, and technical support. Anwar has strong hands-on experience in all phases of SOC and ASIC chip design from RTL to GDS and managed various design teams. He has also managed corporate design automation of a top semiconductor company with responsibility for multi-million dollar tools acquisition, corporate design flow development, customization, and global deployment. He also designed and developed software EDA tools. He worked for major semiconductor companies like National Semiconductor, Amdahl, ST Microelectronics, and Renesas as well as a few start-ups. He has provided high-end ASIC design support & program management activities for Cisco Systems, Microsoft, Intel, and Qualcomm. He has BSEE, MSEE, and MBA degrees. Anwar has also completed project management and Scrum master courses and is certified as a Scrum Master. He is a technical committee member of Synopsys Users group and made several publications in the International Test Conference and SNUG, US

MD. KAMRUZZAMAN

Senior Director of IC Design (ICD)

Md. Kamruzzaman is an experienced Senior Director with demonstrated 17+ years of working in the semiconductor and information technology industry. Skilled in business development, company policy, project management, resource management, design engineering, software development, EDA management, network security and management, and ERP software management. Strong professional with a BS focused on Computer Science and Engineering from East West University and MS focused in Communication Engineering from United International University.

ABDUL MUBIN AHMED

Senior Director of Engineering

Abdul Mubin Ahmed has over 20 years of experience in VLSI chip design in leading, managing, training and hands-on engineering experience in design, device, process, products and product development. He received a B.Sc with honors in EEE from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and then joined BUET as a lecturer. He went to Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA for higher studies, received MSc in EEE from Purdue University, joined Intel Corporation in Silicon Valley and worked there for about a decade. He then ventured into two different start-ups in innovative VLSI area working in cutting-edge technology solutions. He is currently overseeing Foundry technology at ULKASEMI.
